It is with great pleasure that we as “Breaking News”, at Campen this year, can present the popular dance group Sabor DKY directly from Santiago de Cuba. Sabor DKY is one the  very best dance Groups of Santiago. They are super talented show dancers and teachers who master all disciplines in the Cuban salsa from salsa, timba, son, cha cha cha, rumba, afro / orisha, reggaeton and salsaton / cubaton, as they are specialists in show dance and rueda de casino.

The group is led by one of Yanek Revilla who has won the world championship in Cuban salsa in both couples dance and rueda de casino. Yanek attended the Nordic Salsa Camp in 2011 and 2012 and we are pleased that we are having Yanek back again with his new Sabor DKY group at the Camp.

Sabor DKY, pronounced Sabor de Calle, consists of the 6 dancers, Yanek Revilla, Yisel Acosta, Gustavo Regueiferos, Clara Hernandez, Luis “Keke” Pineda and Leyanet Espinal. In addition to teaching all types of Cuban salsa and rueda the casino, Sabor de Calle will attend a cultural workshop on “Afro Cuban Orisha Dance Culture” and “Cuban Culture and Spanish” focusing on dance, culture and history from Santiago de Cuba.

Further  we  as breaking news this year we will make a special culture workshop with Yanek Revilla  and Sassan Ito called ”Cuban Rueda meets European  Rueda – Lets Connect”
