DJ Leo D’Cuba (Leobel Abreu) ​​is from Las Tunas, Cuba, from where he moved to Stuttgart in Germany, when he was 15. Shortly after, he began to work as a DJ at small events. Over the years he has gathered more and more experiences in the Stuttgart salsa scene. Besides this he is also an enthusiastic dancer, and he works for various dance schools as a salsa and rueda de casino teacher.
Today DJ Leo is one of the most popular Cuban salsa DJ´s at the international and European Cuban Salsafestivals scene. DJ Leo represents the perfect mix of best and latest Cuban salsa music and timba, as well as classic salsa, son, cha cha cha  and hot cubaton.
At the Nordic Salsa Camp 2019 DJ-Leo gets the challenging task, together with DJ-Luis & DJ-Øls to inspire the dancers to create a playing and innovative dance flor where the dancers try out the Whole potential of the Cuban Salsa, Timba, Son, Cha cha cha, Rumba, Cubaton, Mambo and Rueda de Casino among others. DJ Leo and the DJ´s will here play the music taught during the today’s workshop,as well as giving their best appetizers to show the huge potential of the Cuban salsa music.

DJ Leo D´Cuba (Leobel Abreu) er fra Las Tunas, Cuba, hvorfra han flyttede til Tyskland da han var 15. Kort efter begyndte han at arbejde som DJ ved små arrangementer. Gennem årene har han samlet flere og flere erfaringer i Stuttgarts salsa-scene. Udover dette er han også en entusiastisk danser, og han arbejder for forskellige danseskoler som salsa og rueda de casino lærer.
DJ LeODCuba havde sit store gennembrud i 2010, da han fik status som resident DJ i forskellige klubber i og uden for Stuttgart (Tyskland) og med de første bookinger til salsa festivaler.
I dag arbejder DJ Leo på Salsafestivaller året rundt i hele Europa.  Leo repræsenterer den perfekte blanding af bedste og nyeste cubanske salsa musik og timba, såvel som klassisk salsa, son og hot cubatón.
På Nordic Salsa Camp 2017 får DJ-Leo den udfordrende opgave at sikre og inspirere til et fyldt “Lets connect & be Connected” dansegulv til ugens 6 parties, hvor han både spiller den musik, der er blevet undervist efter i løbet af dagens workshop, såvel som disker op med kendte og ukendte lækkerrier i cubansk salsa.
