We are happy to welcome Julia and Rene as rueda teachers at the Nordic Salsa Camp 2019.
Julia & Rene have the last 10 years been an active part of the Cuban salsa scene in Berlin, where they in 2015 founded the association Salsa Cubana Berlin as a network platform to promote and train Cuban rueda and salsa in Berlin. Iniatilly to ensure and maintain rueda switch as part of the rueda scene and dance training activities in Berlin, which later, with lots of fun and passion the Switch-Rueda was supplemented with trainings for movements, Son, Chachacha, Rumba, Musicality etc.
Julia & Rene have been teaching Cuban Rueda and Salsa the last 4 years in Berlin and international festivals. They are dedicated rueda switch teachers and with their rueda group the have developed more than 70  rueda switch variants. At the Nordic Salsa Camp 2019 Julia & Rene will teach rueda switch.

Jennifer Berger is an enthuastic salsa dancer who discovered her passion for Cuban Salsa in 2011. Since her childhood she loves to dance. It doesn’t matter if belly dancing, urban dances or other styles but her special love is Cuban Salsa whose diversity and passion fascinate her till this day.
Jenni´s has developed her self as a dancer having a lots of ambitions combined with intensive training of many different festivals with famous Cuban teachers and by traveling and taking lessons in Cuba.
Jenni´s dance style is specially shaped by Rumba, Afro-Cuban dances and a modern active woman role. She loves the interaction and playing during her social dances with her dance partners.
In 2016 Jenni became a member of Hot Tumbao, the show group of Luis Duarte. Since then she has been working as an assitant teacher on Luis Duarte side at many national and international festivals.
Jenni´s first Nordic Salsa Camp was in 2013 as a student, since then she has been attending every year. In 2018 it was the first time as an assistant teacher in the Nordic Salsa Camp. With great pleasure she already passes on her passion for the Cuban culture and its dances to her students in Hamburg. With a lot of joy she tries to push her students to the best.

It´s with great pleasure we again can present Tanja Siebert as rueda instructor at the Nordic Salsa Camp 2019.  Tanja has been a professional jazz singer since 1998 and an instructor for singers and jazz ensembles since 2004 at the „Jazzschule Berlin“. Music is a big part of her daily life.
Since 2009 Tanja has been a an active and passionate part of the Berlin salsa/casino, rueda and son scene, where she had teach rueda and son since 2014.  In 2017 Tanja started teaching internationally mostly Son Rueda and Son but also Rueda „Berlin Style“ and Switch Rueda among others, at the Nordic Salsa Camp and salsa associations in Denmark.
At the Camp 2019 Tanja will teach Rueda Son, where Tanja will demonstrate some of the wonderful and inspiring rueda son experience she got from the participation in the Salsa Camp Events special Son Camp in Cuba Tour in February 2019 to Santiago and Baracoa in East-Cuba. With focus on the Rueda son inspiration especially from Yanek Revilla and Sabor SKY in Santiago de Cuba.

Yes, they are coming again this year! – Hot Tumbao from Hamburg! – With their awesome dance pleasure, high energy, super good mood and entertainments capabilities to energize the dance floor and create a beautiful and positive atmosphere for any party.

Hot Tumbao was formed in 2009 by Luis Duarte with the purpose of combining Cuban salsa with other dance styles and creating a new and completely unique style. All dancers in Hot Tumbao come with very different dance backgrounds. They are super talented teachers and show dancers where they in their performances combine salsa, rumba and afro with the killers breakdance, ballet and hip hop, etc.
